Flavor Fusion is a recipe discovery app designed to inspire home cooks with a vast collection of recipes, streamline meal planning through auto-generated grocery lists, and provide personalized recommendations based on user preferences.
This project was developed as part of a UX/UI design bootcamp, where the goal was to create an intuitive, visually appealing landing page that effectively communicates the app’s features and value proposition.
Challenge
The main challenge was crafting a user-friendly interface that balances vibrant visuals with clear, digestible information, ensuring users quickly understand the app’s benefits and feel compelled to explore further.
Solution
I conducted user research to identify pain points in existing recipe apps, explored layout options, and iterated on high-fidelity designs. The final landing page design uses appetizing imagery, playful typography, and strategic call-to-action buttons to engage visitors and guide them towards downloading the app.
The color palette of Flavor Fusion is vibrant and appetizing, inspired by fresh ingredients and the joy of cooking. Warm tones like rich reds, zesty oranges, and earthy greens were chosen to evoke a sense of flavor and energy, while soft neutrals provide balance, ensuring the design remains inviting and easy to navigate.
The Flavor Fusion logo was created with the assistance of an AI Image generator. The design features playful, food-inspired elements that reflect the app’s core mission — bringing joy and creativity to home cooking. The vibrant, dynamic aesthetic of the logo complements the color palette, reinforcing the brand’s energetic and inviting identity.
A key aspect of the landing page design was the use of stunning, realistic, and appetizing imagery. High-quality visuals of fresh ingredients and delicious dishes were carefully selected to captivate users and evoke a sensory connection to the app’s culinary focus. These images not only enhance the visual appeal but also help communicate the richness and variety of recipes available within Flavor Fusion. These images were also generated with AI.
